The integration of China's GPS navigation industry and new energy industry has evolved from traditional path guidance to an intelligent ecosystem with Beidou high-precision positioning as the core and vehicle road cloud map collaboration. Since 2020, with the maturity of the '5G+Beidou' fusion technology, high-precision positioning has jumped from the meter level to the centimeter level, widely used in more than 30 new energy vehicle models such as GAC Aion, Xiaopeng, and Ideal, supporting lane level navigation and safety redundancy for L2.5 to L3 level autonomous driving. Top enterprises build full stack capabilities: NavInfo provides high-precision maps at the vehicle specification level, Huawei DriveONE achieves native integration of navigation and intelligent driving systems, Baidu Maps and Amap complete the charging pile 'picture' and update the status in real time, solving the pain point of 'charging anxiety'. At the policy level, the 'Guiding Opinions on the Pilot of High Precision Maps for Intelligent Connected Vehicles' clarify the compliance path of surveying and mapping, and promote the integration of vehicle, road and cloud. The fusion function has been extended to intelligent cockpits, such as Geely's 'Super Eva' which can autonomously plan the full chain task of 'picking up children+charging on the way' based on voice commands. Currently, navigation systems are transitioning from independent devices to dynamic perception and decision-making centers for new energy vehicles, but there are still challenges in terms of high-precision map data security, cross vendor protocol interoperability, and global coverage.
